SIXTY-FOUR DAYS AT MCDF.

SIXTY-FOUR DAYS AT MCDF.

What you desire is exactly what you get. My sixty-four days at Muthaa Foundation has been a kickoff, being part of this team has given me a clear understanding of the desired outcome of the future creating a sustainable development to a better society for today and tomorrow. Where I want to be and the vision has given a higher morale, aggressiveness and productivity.

It has been a learning progress of being value-centered through understanding that the cornerstone of effective communication is trust and having best intentions at heart. The team constitutes sharing information, knowledge and experiences in a meaningful and effective way which is absolutely essential to the well being of the Organization. Sharing knowledge improves productivity, saves time and reduces frustration. Team work of the Organization leads to impacting one positively on the morale and diminishes the negative effect of team politics.

The three months have been spectacular at MCDF, the team identifies and utilizes new talents based on the One Stop Youth Resource Center at Kaloleni which is for youth empowerment. I have experienced the joy of personal growth and change. Personal power has grown since we are encouraged to be less dependent on the leader to have ownership over the work environment. Confidence and self-esteem are supported with each success making us reconnect to the mission and purpose of the organization.

Muthaa Foundation is built on integrity and this creates an environment that most of us would embrace. I have built a solid foundation of values and principles which can withstand changes and unexpected experiences due to the health preventative training that we offer to various Counties in Kenya.

I believe that I have attracted what I expect, reflected what i desire, becoming what I respect and Mirrored what I admire.
