YOUR QUEST TO UNDERSTAND MCDF MADE EASIER

About MCDF

What is MCDF? That is the first question that everyone seems to ask every time I mention where I work. If I could get a penny for each time I answer that question, I would be "Penny Rich". However, it is a question that I find delight in answering, because MCDF's sole mission is something that I hold close to my heart. You will get to know more about what MCDF does its values and why the entire team and other stake holders hold these values so dear. In the mean time, here is a little something about MCDF.

Muthaa Community Development Foundation (MCDF) was founded by Ms. Emily Karechio the President, in the year 2005 and is registered under Society’s Act Cap 61. MCDF’s mission is to establish and promote projects and strategies that will empower and effect positive change in the community.

MCDF supports community driven projects and programs by partnering with the Government, and other stakeholders with similar goals. MCDF is involved in many community based projects that have realized great success. These projects will be highlighted in proceeding blog posts, so watch this space! Get to know about these projects, share, and comment, suggest, tell a friend(s) and experience this beautiful journey with MCDF as the team shares their personal experiences.

Food For Thought
Finally, in the words of Pope John Paul II “...A community needs a soul if it is to become a true home for human beings. You, the people, must get it this soul."
